A Message to Canadians

At the Inclusive Workplace and Supply Council of Canada (IWSCC), we take immense pride in representing Veteran-Owned and Disabled-Owned businesses across our great nation. Year after year, we grow alongside business owners who share our vision of a strong, inclusive, and prosperous Canada where opportunity is available to all who seek it.

The heart of our nation lies in its people—ambitious, hardworking Canadians who build businesses, create jobs, and uplift their communities. Among them are Veterans and Canadians with disabilities, whose resilience and creativity fuel innovation and economic growth. These entrepreneurs are shaping a future where workplaces are accessible, welcoming, and built on the principles of equity and inclusion.

In times of economic uncertainty, our national strength is found in unity. As Canadians, we must stand firm in our belief that prosperity should not come at the expense of the vulnerable. We cannot allow divisive rhetoric to overshadow our values of camaraderie, justice, and mutual support—values that define what it means to be Canadian. A thriving economy must work for all Canadians, not just for a select few.

To the Corporate and Government Members who share our mission, we challenge you to recognize the strength and capability of Veteran-Owned and Disabled-Owned businesses. Investing in these enterprises is an investment in a Canadian marketplace fueled by unique experience, creative solution, and passionate competition.

To the Veterans and Canadians with disabilities who share our vision, and have built businesses with determination and vision, we thank you. Your leadership, ingenuity, perseverance, and drive to create continues to inspire us and serve as the foundation of a stronger Canada.

To all Canadians who believe in a strong and united economy, we urge you to seek out opportunities to partner and exchange with those whose unique experiences and perspectives enrich our collective success. Together, we can build a nation where every entrepreneur has the chance to thrive, and where success is measured not by exclusivity, but by inclusivity.

Buy Local. Buy Diverse. Buy Canadian.
