Rob Francis is a former Naval Warfare Officer who served over 20 years in uniform, finishing his career as a Lieutenant-Commander. Rob led his ship’s Anti-submarine warfare team as an expert in underwater combat, and as a Navy diver. After the events of 9/11, Rob deployed to the Arabian Gulf as a Bridge-watchkeeper to support Canada’s mission in Afghanistan. Other deployments included Maritime Drug Interdiction operations in the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas.

After extensive work as a professional Naval Officer, Rob also held positions within the Canadian Armed Forces as a Bootcamp instructor in St-Jean, Quebec and later as an associate professor of Leadership and Psychology at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario. He developed an expertise in human behaviour and small group cohesion afterMcompleting a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology

Since leaving the Forces, Rob has held senior positions at Canada’s premier health companies, Medcan and ReGen Scientific. Today, he is the founder and CEO of FOCI Sustainability Consultants. FOCI specialize in building engagement programs and sustainability management systems within organizations that look to strengthen their ESG programs and become more competitive in rapidly evolving supply chains.
