Canada Post | Manager, Indigenous & ESG Procurement
David is Manager, Indigenous & ESG Procurement at Canada Post Corporation (CPC). He works with a small team to increase Indigenous engagement, supplier diversity, accessibility and sustainability across Canada Post’s ~$2Bn annual purchases of goods and services.
He served in the Australian Army Reserve from 2009-20, and deployed to Iraq as Finance Officer for the Australia-New Zealand Task Group Taji in 2017. He is an advocate for better opportunities within the Canadian Armed Forces for veterans and applicants with hearing loss.
Canada Post has ambitious targets to increase Indigenous economic engagement, increase supplier diversity (including disabled-, 2S+-, and veteran-owned businesses), increase use of SME suppliers, reduce greenhouse gas emissions by suppliers, improve accessibility and strengthen governance in its supply chain. CPC was shortlisted for the annual award for Best Supplier Diversity Program by CAMSC in 2023 and the annual award for Most Improved Supplier Diversity Program by WBE Canada in 2022.
