Darcy Boucher

Darcy is an entrepreneur, marketing/communications professional, and Canadian Armed Forces Veteran. In addition to her 14 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Naval Reservist, she has worked at the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) as a communications advisor. There, she managed the RCN’s online presence and advised senior leadership (including the Commander of the RCN) on social media best practices. She also helped manage his official online platforms, create content and strategies.
In 2013 Darcy started Bowda Creative Co., a remote first, women owned and operated, full service creative communications agency that helps Canadian nonprofits, organizations, and brands communicate effectively, both on and offline. They offer social media and graphic design services, as well as a variety of other marketing support.
Darcy lives in Ottawa, ON with her husband, their two rescue dogs, and their two young boys (2.5 yrs and 8 months).
