Janet McCausland
Janet is a seasoned strategic leader with 25 years of building innovative programs, brokering complex partnerships, and generating sustainable growth in the social impact sector.
As Head of Programs for Prince’s Trust Canada (PTC), she led the start-up and growth of Operation Entrepreneur, a program that supports Veterans transitioning from the Canadian Armed Forces who want to become entrepreneurs. More recently, as PTC’s Head of Communications and Sustainability, she was proud to weave elements of sustainability into PTC’s Veteran and youth employment programming. Prior to PTC, she had her own consulting company offering strategic communications and project management for clients in the sustainability sector.
After a decade, Janet has recently left PTC and is looking for a role with a purpose-driven company where she can bring her team leadership, communications and stakeholder engagement skills to developing projects and programs that deliver impact.
Janet has completed a BA, an MA, a Fundraising Management Certificate and is currently enrolled in a course about ESG reporting. In her spare time, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Toronto Swim Club and the Natural Burial Association.
