Headshot of David Wieser

Born in Vancouver, David embarked on a transformative journey in 1993 by shedding 100 lbs and joining the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada. In 2000 he delved into an electrical apprenticeship, later joining the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and earning journeyperson status in 2005. Simultaneously, David transitioned to the Regular Force as an Electrical Distribution Technician, landing in Winnipeg.

The year 2009 took David to Afghanistan on deployment, and upon returning in 2010, he founded Bicycle Valet Winnipeg. Posted to Petawawa in 2011, Wieser Electric restarted in Ontario in 2012 after obtaining a Master Electrician License. Fast forward to 2017, a posting to Kingston prompted Wieser Electric to relocate too!

David’s journey extended beyond borders, participating in deployments with DART to The Philippines and later to Kuwait.

Having released in 2022, Wieser Electric has now grown to 15 employees supporting Canada’s transition to a greener economy by specializing at installing EV Chargers throughout Ontario.
